So together with my good friend Robert Rumery I am working on a collection of Poetry which we will release as an joint effort this halloween. His brand of introspective and gloom filled poetry mixed with my burst of extreme somber nightmares you've come to know from my work in The Pitchfork Diaries will leave you burnt and smoking in a pile of lost hope.
This is my last work before I begin work on my new Novel " Nikki".
The stage for " Return to Sender" The second book in The Family of Dog series is set and will be completed as well as the third book in the FOD series "The Reich" however this series at this time is on the back burner. So be ready for more updates on The poetry collection as it unfolds, I am excited and as dark as darkness falls..

SO WHATS UP? HMMM...... BEEN AWHILE EH?
SO WHAT IS GOING ON IN HE WORLD OF THE ILLUSIVE MR. BANNERMAN? WELL I AM SITTING IN THE USUAL HUDSONS WITH A COMPUTER WORKING ON A BOOK, BUT WAIT YOU SAY, ITS BEEN MONTHS! THE FEAST (EXCERPT FROM PITCHFORK 2)

HERE IS THE VERY FIRST GLIMPSE INTO A STORY FROM PITCHFORK 2, AND NO IT WOULDNT HAPPEN TO BE ABOUT THE GOAT GALS....... OR WOULD IT?

The silence was broken with the crash of 3 corpses dropped on the white table cloth from what must have been a thousand feet above as the table and all of the candles and dinnerware busted and shattered in slow motion as the bodies fall in separate places on top of the busted ivory, the bodies burnt and still smoldering the pink flesh blackened with streaks of blood crossing their beautiful curves as if they had been whipped before they had been enslaved by flame. the smoke rising smelled of death a suffering never been written nor felt  like a crucifixion these souls had been dropped off in hell for vacation before they met true death. the overwhelming urges still grew inside of him he was rushed with the desire to fornicate with the burn victims he had never felt a rush of desire like this before he wanted to ejaculate on each of them in a mad rush of orgasmic  frenzy.

Welcome to the Doghouse!!

Well its been awhile since I have been here but lots of new news! First off thanks to everyone who has visited almost 13,000 since march!
Pitchfork 2 is coming along awesome and is going to be a double release as I have decided to add "Don't Rape the Hand that feeds You" so at last count the book is sitting at about 300 pages and I am still adding! A great new line up of stories thst crush the first Pitchfork as well as every interview/ guest post/ review as well as some unreleased stuff Luke the editing notes and left overs from Harvest you have never seen and the flyers we passed out that got us kicked out of churches! It's going to kick ass!
Also I have found my partner in crime to co author Family of Dog : Return to Sender and trust me she is Awesome!!

I am currently working on Pitchfork 2 set for release on St.Patty's day 2012. I'm hoping it will be my launch book for a new publisher.

I continue to get denied by publishers due to the extreme work I release and bad news is I'm only getting warmed up.

I'm working on something right not just for friends and fans nothing I plan on releasing in a big form.

A book called "Rape the Hand that Feeds You" it is a book of every interview/guest post I have ever done as well as a few that we're banned and refused. It will also include never before seen original Pitchfork and Harvest edits and handwritten notes and explanations on things you never knew about.

Lastly I hope you all have a killer new year I have 3 books planned this year and hopefully with a good publisher we can get my books in the right hands! I also have a horror convention in Denver in October ( more details as they develop ) and I'm hoping very much to make a very special appearance in Houston in the summer ( once again secrets secrets).

Its not just me saying it!!! Read the reviews!!

When I was given the chance to read The Pitchfork Diaries for a review I was beyond excited. Not only did I have something new to read, but it was something new that was horror related. I read this all in one sit down, and have read it twice since then. TPD are a collection of shorts by J. Bannerman.

I personally have a soft spot for short stories, I love seeing how much someone can put down in such little time, and Bannerman exceeds in this category with flying colors. Very strong sexual tones, religious tones, and plenty of horror for any reader. The stories are worded well enough to tell you what’s going on and enough to let you mind wander and ask yourself “what if?”.

These stories have very good plots, and even better twists. Just when you think you’ve cracked into Bannerman’s mind and try to figure out how a story is going to end he hits you on your blind side and leaves you stunned for a minute. Quite a few of the stories started with me saying to myself “Nice, I like where this is going…” to me reading the last line and saying “Oh shit…”. For a short story to have that kind of a twist and just drop a bomb in the end like that, well, that’s just good stuff.

These stories are not just a collection of scary stories, these are not stories that will just give you goosebumps. These are stories that will soak in, crawl under your skin, and take you on a ride into something darker.

Note to those veteran horror writers, there’s a new guy in town… and his pitchfork is aimed at all of your necks. Do yourself a favor, read The Pitchfork Diaries, now. Before it becomes the next big thing and you miss the train to something bigger.

Needless to say, I can’t wait for Volume 2. Keep them coming Mr. Bannerman

Today I would like to address the ever ongoing subject of people claiming or complaining or whimpering or dropping on their knees praying to Jesus about my writing being to graphic or to violent.

Well since you asked I have a few different views on the subject. Number one, I did not ask you to pick up my book and read it without there being a description or the availability of reviews for you to read and research in advance AND if the term EXTREME HORROR did not tip you off obviously it surprises me none that you would be one to bitch. YOU are the reason America sucks YOU are the old lady who spilled coffee in her lap and sued McDonald's, YOU are the teenager not wearing a condom and inviting yourself to my tax money to pay for the baby you have no right to have. The info is obvious coffee is hot unprotected sex causes pregnancy and if you did not know those things YOU HAVE NOT BEEN PAYING ATTENTION!

Number two even sometimes we can take reviews or descriptions non seriously and you know why?

Because people will say what they need to say to sell their product. Its an age old game snake oil cures the sick, regrows hair,eases arthritis you know whatever it needed to do at the right time and place for the con artist to make money and yes yes it is true MALES are the worst about it because we have no problem telling you we can and will satisfy you just to have the opportunity......... oh hell I was not supposed to say that it is in the secret man guide.

Number three, OK this is where Jake gets controversial guess what violence and graphic sex murder rape blood splatter necrophilia chainsawed abortions being fed to nuns decapitating the pope and flying planes into buildings and killing thousands is are you ready.......... IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT!!!!! Check the numbers on movies, People do not stray away from violence or sex or murder have you seen the NEWS lately? Ever heard of NASCAR? How many times do you think people actually watch a race to see cars drive in circles???? NONE NONE AND NONE we watch for the wrecks, Oh no you say NOT ME really? So porn is larger than Hollywood in terms of income because NOBODY is interested in sex? How fucking silly do you think I am?

So what do I say when people say I am graphic violent and sexual, I say yes I am! I am a human being created by a God who programmed me with lust,sin,anger and the desire to be interested in every damn one of them! Its called the Pleasures of the FLESH and I indulge in every one of them every fucking chance I get the chance. Just remember that the bible says THE WAGES OF SIN ARE DEATH wait death and sin? HOW VIOLENT.........

This time I am going to go over something I struggle with on a daily basis and that is acceptance and my top ten reasons why I should strive to gain your acceptance and then I will rebuttal my own top ten with another top ten reasons why I should not.

1. I want you to buy my book!
2. I want your friends and family to buy my book
3. I want your girlfriend to buy my book
4. I want your girlfriends family and friends to buy my book
5. Start at number 1 and repeat

There is no question about it I want book sales I want to bathe in money and drive my Mercedes into an ice cream truck just to see the artwork it would create,I want to surround myself with porn stars who live to have my dick slapped on their face when I bust a nut. I want monogrammed toilet paper, I want to lite my cigarettes with hundred dollar bills and by the way I want to fuck your girlfriend and her mother and her sisters while you video tape it. Now let me give you my top ten reasons why I am not completely worried about your acceptance!

1. I do not give a fuck if you buy my book!
2. I don’t give a fuck if your friends and family buy my book
3. I do not care if your slut girlfriend buys my book!
4. And as far as her family and friends go,unless They are fucking me I could care less
5. Start at number one and repeat.

So its like this I want you to buy my book because it is a quality product and its well worth your time and honestly want you to become interested in my work and continue to read my work because I enjoy doing it and enjoy the fact that you read it.

At the same time if it means I think ant less of my self because you do not buy my book or you talk bad about my book ( join the fucking club) you would be dead wrong..

Now I am surrounded by professionals who tell me what and what not to say and this is the kind of thing that will get their blood boiling and I will face the repercussions I am sure it will be a routine ass chewing from my partners.

But guess what I will continue to wave my flag around with my my middle finger up and spitting venom and vigor and swagger and pissing on the book world and see what people seem to miss about a guy like me is this, If I am on your side I will do all of these things for YOU because without YOU I am nothing but one voice, With YOU we are an army!!!

My point is do not hate the shotgun because it is dangerous BUY the shotgun because it is dangerous!

You have a chance to join me in flipping off the world and liking it or you can go buy the next faggot vampire book and continue to act like you are a horror fan.
