Those inquiring about the book I do not plan on giving slot of details though I will tell you there are 18 central people the book is based around and you learn about the first six in the first instalment of The Family of Dog series The Harvest
I have just started chapter 20 of the book which is the story of the sixth person for this book. SATAN SPEAKS LISTEN....

As he approached the gilded wooden door of the courtroom a man in a cassock worn inside out broke through the security line declaring, "Hail Satan!".  Satan paused and slowly lowering his gaze as if appraising a racing horse, locked eyes with the man.  The man faltered in balance but could not break the bond seemingly formed between the two of them, he could not move at all.  The images began pouring into Satans mind, the lovely young girl, barely begun in the evolution from child to woman.  The greed in the eyes of the father as he forced the girl to disrobe, the agony in her eyes as her father placed her on the wooden cross in the basement.  The screams, the pleas as the nails were driven into her wrists, her ankles.  The man began to tremble, drool sliding down his weak chin.  Terror filled his heart as Satan leaned ever so slightly toward him.  His mouth moved not, yet the man clearly heard the voice of Satan, "You fool.  Never advertise your weakness as a strength.  No agnostic delimma will be cured by pledging your allegiance for me."  As the hot piss began seeping through the cassock and pooling on the floor Satan broke his gaze and gave his attention to the door waiting to be opened.  The man collapsed on the floor as Satan threw open the courtroom door.

> The darkness was complete, pure in a way Victoria could have never imagined.  She felt herself fill with the darkness, with the venom of rage.  The moon was the thinnest cresent slash of white cutting the raven velvet of night sky.  Her burden was heavy of heart but light in her arms.  The barn door creaked lightly as she pushed it open.  The soft glow of the lantern she had placed in there earlier tonight had turned the hall of memories into a contrast of jagged shadows.  Victoria placed the figure on the seat of the chair her uncle had so recently purchased.  After she had stripped the gown off and began tightening the leather straps she was reminded of the infant swing that was forever vacant.  The electric chair was much larger than an infant's swing but as long as the chest strap held and the metal cap was on the head it should go as planned.  Faith had remained in her dormant sleep until the cold water was splashed on her body
